14 Candidates – BWF Para Badminton Athletes’ Commission Elections – November

Further to our announcement of 11 July 2025 (linked here) calling for nominations for the Para Badminton Athletes’ Commission elections, we are pleased to announce that there are 14 candidates for the elections to be held 14 – 16 November 2025.

The names of the candidates are below and the profiles of all 14 candidates can be found on the BWF website (linked here).

There are 6 positions and 14 candidates. Here are the names of the candidates.

Key Information – Commission Elections

1.There are 6 positions to be filled / 14 candidates (see the profiles)

2. Athletes must first register to vote (Click on the link to register to vote). Register to vote 5 September – 9 November 2025

3. Who can vote in the elections?

• 18 years of age or older on 14 November 2025.
• In “good standing” with your Member Association.
• Not serving a period of ineligibility.
• “Active Players” on the World Ranking (as at 11 July 2025).
• Have registered to vote by the deadline.

4. The registration form is in 8 languages English, Spanish, French, Indonesian, Chinese, Korean, Thai and Japanese. Click on the dropdown menu top right.

5. Elections are on 14 – 16 November 2025.

6. Electronic voting – Registered voters have 48 hours to vote:

• Polls Open – 12:00 noon Kuala Lumpur time Friday 14 November 2025
• Polls Close – 12:00 noon Kuala Lumpur time on Sunday 16 November 2025
