Overview

BWF policies are part of the BWF Statutes which is the complete set of BWF rules.  The Statutes includes the BWF constitution, guidelines, policies, the code of ethics, codes of conduct, judicial procedures, laws of badminton and all technical regulations for the sport of badminton.

Policy development is the responsibility of the Governance and Ethics Technical Commission (GETC) who work with key staff (BWF Secretary General, COO and Head of Legal/Governance), to review existing policies and make recommendations on new polices.

The GETC makes recommendations to a Council Committee – the Governance and Ethics Committee who in turn recommend new rules, and changes to governance regulations to the BWF Council for approval.
