Speak Up and Report
BWF has a “whistle blower” reporting system to allow individuals to confidentially report information about:
- betting in badminton
- match fixing
- other corrupt behaviour
This reporting system:
Individuals who wish to report possible breaches of the BWF Regulations, can use a ‘whistle blower’ form to report possible offences (see download section above).
Reports on possible betting, bribes and inducements to influence the outcome of a match, doping or other corrupt behaviour must be sent directly to the manager of the Integrity Unit – Andy Hines-Randle [email protected]
In addition to the BWF’s Speak Up & Report mechanism and during the period of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, players can also report via the IOC Integrity Hotline
IOC Integrity Hotline
The IOC Integrity and Compliance Hotline can be used to report any breaches of the Olympic Movement Code on the Prevention of the Manipulation of Competitions in the Olympic/Youth Olympic Games, notably betting on one’s sport, sharing inside information, any successful/unsuccessful attempt of competition manipulation, corrupt conduct, and failure to report such information. The IOC Integrity and Compliance Hotline provides confidentiality and anonymity, and it is accessible at any time for anyone who wishes to report any of the aforementioned breaches in relation to badminton events that take place at the Olympic/Youth Olympic Games and/or under the jurisdiction of the IOC.
NOTE: ANY FALSE REPORTS GIVEN BY ANYONE WITH THE KNOWLEDGE THAT THE OFFENCE IS NOT REAL OR NOT GIVEN IN GOOD FAITH IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE AND THE BWF WILL CONSIDER DISCIPLINARY ACTION AGAINST ANY PERSON GIVING FALSE REPORTS.
