Elections – Overview
BWF is calling for nominations for the election for the Athletes’ Commission elections 2025.
Elections will take place on 28 – 30 November 2025.
The term of the current Para Badminton Athletes’ Commission (2021- 2025) ends at the end of the year.

BWF will announce the list of candidates on Friday 3 October 2025.
The elections will be held electronically. Players must first register to vote. This will take place between 3 October and 23 November. Registered voters have 48 hours to cast their vote between 28 – 30 November 2025.
About the Commission
- 6 positions
- 4-year term – Athletes’ Commission (2025 – 2029).
- The new Commission elects the Chair and Deputy Chair.
- The Chair (after the vetting process) becomes a BWF Council member (2025 – 2029).
