Badminton World Federation – Grants Consultant

The Badminton World Federation (BWF) is seeking a Grants Consultant on a short-term basis to support its Development & Sport for All department by reviewing, grading, and providing feedback on Membership Grant Programme applications. This role focuses on enhancing the effectiveness and quality of grant processes by delivering constructive recommendations, organising application documentation, and assisting in the preparation of grant agreements. Working closely with BWF’s Deputy Director and development teams, the consultant will contribute to strengthening member support initiatives aligned with BWF’s global vision. The ideal candidate will have experience in sports development, grant evaluation, and programme delivery, with strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

BWF Tournament Data Officer

The Tournament Data Officer (Technology & Operations) is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, accuracy, and integrity of BWF’s tournament technology and data systems. The role acts as a key liaison between the Digital and Events teams, providing both on-site and office-based support to ensure reliable system performance, accurate results reporting, and proper rankings processing. It encompasses system testing, data validation, stakeholder coordination, service desk management, and continuous improvement of platforms such as tournament software, DataHub, Extranet, and Badminton4U. Overall, the position combines technical expertise and operational support to deliver high-quality, data-driven tournament operations and maintain the integrity of official BWF data.

BWF Internship Programme

The Badminton World Federation (BWF) Internship Programme offers a 3–6 month opportunity in Kuala Lumpur for Malaysian and fresh graduates to gain practical experience across areas such as Business Operations, Development, Technology & Digital Innovation, Events, and Marketing & Communications. Interns support day-to-day operations and projects including administration, event coordination, digital platform development, data analysis, and content creation while contributing to international badminton initiatives. Candidates should have a relevant academic background, strong organisational and communication skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Office, with additional technical tools as an advantage.
