BWF Head of Technical Officials

BWF is looking to recruit a Head of Technical Officials for the Events Department.

Reporting to and working closely with the Events Director – Technical Operations, the Head of Technical Officials is responsible for management of the Technical Officials programmes within the Events Department,
including:

• Management of technical officials operations including tournament assignments and planning;
• Management and development of the professional technical official workforce including referees, umpires, and tournament doctors
• Technical official policy development through consultation with key stakeholder groups including commissions, panels, Continental Confederations, and working groups;
• Innovation initiatives within the technical officials area to enhance officiating accuracy and sport presentation; and
• Technical official pathway development including working with Continental Confederations and Member Associations on recruitment, education, training, and development initiatives.

BWF Technical Events Officer

BWF is looking to recruit 2 Technical Events Officers for the Events Department.

Reporting to the Head of Tournament Development, the Technical Events Officer will provide support for the day to day administrative functions of the Events Department. This is a badminton technical role and the responsibilities include:

• World Ranking, Tournament, and Draw Management systems for badminton, Para badminton, and AirBadminton.
• Player Management including Prize Money Distribution, Player Transfer/Player Retirement Processes.
• Data collection, analysis and presentation related to World Ranking and other Tournament related Topics.
• Assist with the preparation of information for reporting and presentations.
• Administrative support for Para badminton, including classification.
