BAHRAIN BWF Para Badminton World Championships 2026 Player Information, Awareness & Education

As you know, the BAHRAIN BWF Para Badminton World Championships 2026 will be hosted in Manama, Bahrain, 08-14 February 2026.

Following the success of the 2024 BWF Para Badminton World Championships held in Pattaya, Thailand, BWF staff will once again be present to share information on integrity (anti-doping / anti-match manipulation) during the Championships in Bahrain.

A virtual meeting for Team Managers on Tuesday 27 January 2026 at 19:00 (KL time) will help them get ready.

Please see below and pass this information on to your Team Managers and Coaches.

1. Integrity Awareness – iZone Activities

The iZone will offer fun activities to help players and Team Managers build integrity awareness (anti-doping / anti-match manipulation).

Every team / player must visit the iZone during the Championships. More information will follow.

2. Information for Team Managers

Upon successful registration, the BWF will send an invitation to Team Managers to attend a one-hour virtual meeting. This will provide information on how Team Managers can best support their players in taking advantage of these opportunities at the Championships.
