Winner of the Shuttle Time Photo of the Year 2025

Following the announcement circulated on 02 September 2025 on the BWF Shuttle Time Photo of the Year 2025, we have received numerous applications from Member Associations implementing Shuttle Time globally, in a creative, inclusive and fun ways to children, students, adults and more. Thank you for your support!

After reviewing the applications, we are pleased to announce the winner of the Shuttle Time Photo of the Year 2025: Djibouti. The Member Association’s submissions fulfilled all the winning criteria, resulting in an extremely close and challenging decision.

The Djibouti Badminton Federation used badminton and Shuttle Time to help young offenders at the Gabode Juvenile Correctional Centre discover fundamental sport values and life skills. This initiative demonstrated how badminton can empower vulnerable youth, supporting their journey toward personal development and social reintegration.

Djibouti was therefore chosen as winner of the second edition of the Shuttle Time Photo of the Year.

The winner will receive their prizes at the BWF AGM 2026 in Horsens, Denmark.

Whats Next?

BWF Shuttle Time Photo of the Year 2026 Application Process will open in September 2026.

More information will be available on the BWF Shuttle Time website (link).

A reminder: Member Associations can apply for the BWF Shuttle Time Photography Grant 2026 to support the Shuttle Time activities and provide better-quality photos for promotion purpose. These photos are allowed to be used for the BWF Shuttle Time Photo of the Year 2026 application.

Detailed information will be shared to Shuttle Time National Coordinators accordingly. Application process will open in February 2026.
