Vacant Position on Council

This is to inform the BWF Membership that Tan Sri Dato’ Dr. Mohamad Norza Zakaria has resigned from his position as BWF Council Member.

The resignation leaves one BWF Council position vacant and BWF will inform the membership in due course around the process to fill this vacant position.

Annual Subscription Update

Further to our notices on subscription payments, we continue to update the BWF website as payments are received (linked here). This page provides the list of Members who:

have not paid their subscription;
have outstanding withdrawal fees;
are under suspension.

Tasks to Complete – BWF AGM 2026 – Saturday 25 April

Please note that the first deadline is approaching fast. The deadline to book and pay for accommodation is Sunday 8 March – at the end of next week. The host cannot guarantee availability of rooms after that date.

Please complete these tasks for the AGM 2026 as soon as possible.

	Task	Details
1.	Decide on your AGM delegate – book flight	Book flights to Billund (BLL) Airport – Denmark Pick up transport will only be from this airport. Before you book, check with your Continental Confederation on the time / date of any AGMs hosted in Horsens – Badminton Africa, Badminton Europe, Badminton Pan Am.
2.	Complete the delegate nomination form	Delegates Nomination Form preferably by 8 March
3.	Register with the Host – Badminton Denmark Every participant must complete this form. See the guidelines attached.	Complete https://team.badminton.dk/tu/ ü request a visa support letter (if you need a visa) ü book / pay for accommodations (deadline 8 March) ü request transport – airport / hotel (deadline 3 April) ü request accreditation

Please note that when you log into the team.badminton.dk, it looks like it is just and Event Portal for the BWF Thomas and Uber Cup players and teams.

This portal is both the Thomas/Uber Cups AND for AGM delegates and observers.
