Para Badminton – Unstoppable Girls Camp 2026

We are pleased to share information about the Unstoppable Girls Camp – an international Para badminton initiative dedicated exclusively to female players, to be held in Kristiansand, Norway, from 10–16 August 2026.

This pioneering camp focuses on strengthening female participation, international exchange, and long-term development in Para badminton.

This activity is an initiative by the Norwegian Badminton Association, supported by the BWF, Badminton Europe, the Norwegian Olympic Committee and other local stakeholders.

Target group: Female Para badminton players (Standing only) and female coaches (with or without disabilities)

Unstoppable Girls Camp (Para Badminton – Girls Only)

The camp is open to athletes in the standing sport classes SL3, SL4, SU5, and SH6 and will be led by experience BWF Tutor and National Coach Sonja Wåland, together with a team of experienced national women coaches.

The organisers are offering FREE accommodation (shared dormitory), meals and local transport.

BWF Coach Education Level 1 (with Disability Emphasis)

Running alongside the camp, a BWF Coach Education Level 1 Course (with Disability Emphasis) will take place from 11–15 August 2026, specifically targeting female coaches. The course will be delivered by experienced international tutors and provides a valuable opportunity to develop coaching skills within a Para badminton context.

Accommodation (with meals) for coaches in the shared dormitory is 25 Euros per night – on a first come basis. Alternative hotel options are available upon request and at own cost. Local transport will be provided free of charge.
