IPC Grant – Sport for Mobility – Para Sport Equipment Grant

We are pleased to share important information regarding the 2025 Para Sport Equipment Grant recently launched by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC). This grant aims to support eligible NPCs by improving access to essential Para sport and classification equipment, strengthening training environments, and enhancing athlete development.

Grant Overview & Equipment

The IPC grant is divided into 2 categories:

  1. Non-competitive: For winter and summer sports (including Para Badminton)
  2. Competitive Grant – winter sport: (not applicable to Para badminton)

 

Under the non-competitive category, NPCs can apply up to EUR 10,000 for the following Para badminton equipment:

  • Para Badminton Wheelchair (BWF to offer a free badminton kit with every wheelchair purchased from the IPC grant)
  • Badminton Kit (including rackets, shuttlecocks and nets)
  • AirBadminton Kit (line system with net to be used for outdoor play)

Eligibility, Application & Reporting

Only eligible NPCs, as per IPC guidelines, can apply. Click here for the list of eligible NPCs.

Application period: 18 December 2025 to 13 February 2026

Implementation period: 1 April 2026 to 30 November 2026

Reporting deadline: Final reports are due on 30 November 2026

 

Member Associations are encouraged to reach out to their NPCs to apply for the grant. Note that deadline for eligible NPCs to apply is on 13 February 2026.
