BWF-Special Olympics International – Badminton Coaching Guide Published!

The Badminton World Federation (BWF) and Special Olympics International (SOI) are pleased to publish an updated version of the Special Olympics Badminton Coaching Guide (2026 edition). With more than 13,000 coaches delivering badminton to 137,000+ Special Olympics athletes on a weekly basis, this guide serves as an excellent tool to further support and enhance badminton within the Special Olympics movement.

The Badminton Coaching Guide brings together a combination of BWF and SOI resources, including elements from the BWF Shuttle Time and Coach Education Programmes.

The guide can be accessed through the BWF Development website and will soon be available in a number of different languages.
