Election to fill a Casual Vacancy on the BWF Council – AGM 2024
Further to our Notice of 31 October 2023 (linked here), this is a reminder that the deadline for proposals and nominations for elections to be held at the AGM 2024 is midnight KL time on Friday 5 January 2024.
Election to Fill the Casual Vacancy
The election at the AGM 2024 is for one (1) position on Council – a casual vacancy (see our Notice of 1 September 2023 – linked here).
Because former Council member Emma Mason was a European woman on Council, to satisfy the Geographical and Gender Representation Requirements of Clauses 2 and 3 of Appendix I of the Constitution (linked here), nominees for election can only be women from Europe.
Any Member in Good Standing can nominate / second nominations for elections. This requires three forms to be completed (see below). The nomination for election must also be seconded by another Member in Good Standing.
