BWF Global Tutor Course Applications Open

As mentioned in our notice earlier this month about the Centralised Courses for 2026, we are pleased to share further information regarding the Tutor Level 1 course.

Please note that this application process is not open to the general public, but rather to tutor candidates nominated by their Member Associations.

Tutor Level 1 Course

The BWF Coach Education Tutor Level 1 course will be held in Dubai from 2 to 6 June.

Applications are open for qualified Level 1 Tutor candidates from Member Associations with a demonstrated need and an identified strategy to train BWF Level 1 Coaches.

  • Tutor candidates should have as a minimum a BWF Level 1 Coach certification, as well as some experience in educating adults learners.
  • Member Associations will need to provide information as to their plans for educating coaches and strengthening their workforce within their national territory.

It is important to note that those candidates who successfully complete the course will need to deliver their first Level 1 Coach course within six months in order to be certified as BWF Tutors. As such, interested Member Associations should have a plan to run a Level 1 course in the second half of 2026.

Why Centralised Courses

Our centralised BWF flagship courses ensure that candidates have regular access to the top tier of our educational experiences.  This allows participants to learn from BWF expert facilitators as they interact with colleagues from around the world, sharing knowledge and expanding their networks.  For a glimpse at the 2025 experience, click here.
