BWF MEMBERSHIP QUESTIONNAIRE 2026
Following discussions with the five Continental Confederations, the BWF will move towards implementing an annual Membership Questionnaire from 2026. The annual BWF Questionnaire will aim to streamline all BWF and Continental Confederation questionnaires into one, with a goal to reduce the need for Member Associations to complete multiple questionnaires annually.
A link to the 2026 Questionnaire can be found below with three languages included – English, Spanish and French.
Please delegate someone in your organisation to complete the questionnaire, which is one of the mandatory criteria to be eligible for the BWF Membership Grant Programme 2026.
Please find attached questionnaires in pdf format as a reference to allow the person completing the questionnaire to prepare the relevant information. Please do not use the pdf to complete the questions.
The questionnaire takes about 30 minutes to complete and should be completed in full on or before Friday 30 January 2026.

BWF MEMBERSHIP GRANT PROGRAMME 2025 & 2026
In conjunction with the BWF Membership Questionnaire, the BWF will once again carry out a Membership Categorisation, which will be used as the basis to offer support to Member Associations through the BWF Membership Grant Programme in 2026.
Since launching the Membership Grants Programme in 2020, 160 Member Associations have benefited from the programme, with a total investment of more than $3.6 million USD. In 2025 the Membership Grant was increased from $5,000 USD to $6,000 USD per eligible Member Association. In 2026, the grant is forecast to increase to $7,000 USD per eligible Member Association.
BWF MEMBERSHIP GRANT PROGRAMME 2025 REPORTING
Please note that the deadline to submit final activity reporting relating to the Membership Grant Programme 2025 is 28 February 2026.
Member Associations must submit a breakdown of costs and outcomes for each agreed activity using the reporting template previously sent to your federation.

BWF MEMBERSHIP GRANT PROGRAMME 2026
It is anticipated that applications for the 2026 Membership Grant Programme will open in Quarter 1 of 2026. To be eligible for the Membership Grant Programme in 2026, Member Associations must meet all eligibility criteria, including competition of reporting from the 2025 Membership Grant Programme.
If your federation was ineligible for the 2025 Membership Grant programme due to incomplete reporting from 2024 or earlier, please contact [email protected] so we can assist you in achieving eligible status for the 2026 Membership Grant Programme.
