Anti-Doping Information Session Get Ready – BAHRAIN BWF Para Badminton World Championships 2026

Thank you to those administrators, players, coaches and team managers who attended the Anti-Doping Information Session on Tuesday 09 December 2025.

As you know, every player must complete anti-doping education before participating in the BAHRAIN BWF Para Badminton World Championships 2026 (see BWF Notice of 02 December).

The information session on 02 December, focused on how to plan for anti-doping education programmes for players who are participating in the BAHRAIN BWF Para Badminton World Championships 2026 in Manama, Bahrain. The session included information on the following:

About the Championships – what are the education requirements?

The BAHRAIN BWF Para Badminton World Championships 2026 will be hosted in Manama, Bahrain early next year.

Please note that every player must complete some form of recognised anti-doping education before they participate in the 2026 Championships.

This is an eligibility requirement to participate in the Championships, as per BWF Anti-Doping Regulations, Article 17.2.

Start planning to work with your National Anti-Doping Organisation (NADO) and the BWF to complete this requirement no later than Friday 30 January 2026.
