Anti-Doping Information Session Get Ready – YONEX SUNRISE BWF World Junior Championships 2025

Thank you to the 30 administrators, coaches, and team managers from 20 Member Associations who attended the Anti-Doping Information Session on Monday 07 July 2025.

As you know, every player must complete anti-doping education before participating in the YONEX SUNRISE BWF World Junior Championships 2025 (see our Notice of 17 June).

The information session on 07 July, focused on how to plan for anti-doping education programmes for players who are participating in the YONEX SUNRISE BWF World Junior Championships 2025 in Guwahati, India. The session included information on the following:

About the Championships – what are the education requirements?

The YONEX SUNRISE BWF World Junior Championships 2025 will be hosted in Guwahati, India later this year.

• Mixed Team Championships (Suhandinata Cup)
  06 to 11 October 2025
• Individual Championships (Eye-Level Cups) 13 to 19 October 2025

Please note that every player must complete some form of recognised anti-doping education before they participate in the 2025 Championships (teams and/or individuals).

This is an eligibility requirement to participate in the Championships, as per BWF Anti-Doping Regulations, Article 17.2.

Start planning to work with your National Anti-Doping Organisation (NADO) and the BWF to complete this requirement no later than Monday 29 September 2025.
