This is an eligibility requirement to participate in the Championships. See below for more information on this.

- Anti-Doping Education – a condition of participation
| Under Clause 17.2 of the BWF Anti-Doping Regulations, the BWF has selected the YONEX SUNRISE BWF World Junior Championships 2025 as an event where players must complete anti-doping education before they participate at the Championships in India.
This means that every player must complete an anti-doping education course before they arrive in India for the Championships. This is a mandatory requirement to be eligible to compete at the YONEX SUNRISE BWF World Junior Championships 2025.
Members must provide BWF with proof of completion of the anti-doping education for each player going to Guwahati, no later than Monday 29 September 2025. |
- Education Options – 3 choices
There are 3 options for you to consider. The education can be face to face or an online course.
If your players have completed an anti-doping course in the last 18 months (January 2024 – June 2025), we can recognise this if it meets the minimum standards, so they do not need to repeat this again.

Have any of your junior players (who may be selected for the YONEX BWF World Junior Championships) completed an anti-doping education course in the last 18 months (January 2024 – June 2025)?
If so, BWF may be able to recognise this and give credit for this, so no new education activity is needed before the YONEX SUNRISE BWF World Junior Championships
The course must:
– Have been delivered by a trained educator / expert.
– Covered the 11 topics in the World Anti-Doping Code Clause 18.2.
Some of your junior players may have completed the International-Level Athletes Education Programme already (see the middle column).
Contact the BWF Integrity Assistant Manager to get the course / anti-doping education approved as meeting the requirement for competing at the World Junior Championships.
