Updates to Governance Regulations
The BWF Council met on Saturday 09 November 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, following five days of Committee and Commission meetings.
The following is a summary of decisions related to governance matters:
- New Associate Member – Saint Pierre and Miquelon Badminton
- Governance Regulations – amendments approved by Council.
Please note that there is a separate BWF Notice on updates to events regulations.
- New Associate Member
Under Clause 11.2 of the BWF Constitution, the Council admitted the Saint Pierre and Miquelon Badminton Association as an Associate Member of the BWF. This means that there are now 202 BWF Members, including 12 Associate Members.
Please join us in welcoming the Saint Pierre and Miquelon Badminton Association.

- Federation Rules and Procedures
- Judicial Procedures
