Shuttle Time Photo of the Year 2024
The BWF’s flagship programme, Shuttle Time, has grown tremendously with more than 160 countries implementing it. Shuttle Time has been delivered and adapted using creative and innovative ways by the BWF, Continental Confederations, Member Associations and international partners to meet their particular badminton and social development goals.
In recognition of Shuttle Time’s success, the BWF is pleased to launch the Shuttle Time Photo of the Year, which is intended to provide recognition to Member Association who are actively delivering Shuttle Time to children, students, adults, elderly and more.
The application period is now open and will close on 07 January 2025. At the end of the application period, one winner will be selected.
How do you participate
Who can apply – BWF Member Associations only
How to enter
Step 1 – Take a photo of badminton activities delivered from 01 January 2024 to 31 December 2024.
Step 2 – Post ONE photo on Facebook and tag @bwfshuttletime.development and #BWFShuttleTime & #ShuttleTimePOTY2024
Step 3 – Complete the BWF Shuttle Time Photo of the Year Application Form in full, using the link provided by the BWF:
Each Member Association can only submit one application.
The application period closes at 11:59pm on 07 January 2025. The winner will be announced before 31 January 2025.

What are the prizes?
- 1x Letter in frame for winning Member Association
- 1x Certificate in frame for photographer
- Winning photo will be published in one or more BWF social platforms and publications, for example: website, social media, newsletters, news articles, annual report and others.
- Free equipment for winning Member Association:
- 1x school kit consists of 20 rackets, 2 nets, 3 tubes of half dozen nylon shuttles, 3 tube of half dozen AirShuttles and 1 bag
- 1x bag of BWF Shuttle Time wristband
- 1x bag of BWF Shuttle Time balloon
- 1x AirBadminton Recreational Kit
