Notice – Get Ready – AGM 2024 – Accommodation, Transport, Accreditation Deadlines – Urgent Reminders

Please see below some urgent reminders to finalise your trip to Chengdu to attend the BWF AGM 2024:

1. Transport and Accreditation Forms – deadline 12 April 2024
2. Accommodation – booking deadline – deadline 5 April 2024
3. Delegate Nomination Form
4. Register Observers

All AGM information is on the AGM page of the BWF website.

1. Urgent Reminder – Transport Form / Accreditation Form

Please find attached 1) the Transport Form and 2) the Accreditation Form. The deadline to return these completed forms is Friday 12 April 2024.

Airports – Transport – airport / hotel / airport.

Airport pick up service to the Holiday Inn is only provided from these airports:

• Shuangliu International Airport (CTU)
• Tianfu International Airport (TFU)

Complete the form and send to [email protected]

Accreditation – EVERYONE must complete the accreditation form and send to the AGM host – [email protected]

• NOTE – You will need accreditation to attend the Forum and AGM venues.

Please note that you also need to submit a profile image and a scanned copy of the main page of your passport. See the instructions on the form attached.

2. Accommodation – Get Ready for the AGM

Last Friday 5 April was the deadline to book for accommodation in Chengdu.

If you have not done this already – please do this TODAY. It is a holiday season in China at the end of April and the host hotel has a high demand and high occupancy.

Book your hotel room – see our Notice of 22 February (linked here) for all the details. There are two ways to book accommodation.

1) Option 1 – Manual Process – complete the Form attached and submit

2) Option 2 – Online booking and payment – see instructions at this link.

3. Delegate Nomination Form

Delegate Nomination Form – complete this (download from AGM page of the BWF website) and send to Patricia [email protected]

4. Observers

Please contact Patricia [email protected] to register observers. Please note that observers must also complete the Accreditation form attached and submit this to the AGM host in Chengdu [email protected]
