This is to provide an update regarding the participation of players (and their support personnel) with a Russian/Belarusian passport in BWF-sanctioned tournaments.

Following the suspension of the National Badminton Federation of Russia on 11^th November 2023, the Participation Regulations for Players with a Russian/Belarusian Passport have been updated and included within the Statutes page of the BWF website (linked here).

They can be found under Section 5.6 – Miscellaneous Regulations.

Also included within this Section is the Administrative Process for Player and Support Personnel with a Russian Passport to be able to compete in BWF-sanctioned tournaments if they are deemed eligible following the vetting process.
