BWF AGM and other Reminders

1. AGM Planning

Thanks you to the 136 Members who have nominated delegates for the BWF AGM.

This is a friendly reminder that Member Associations should have completed these 3 tasks by now to get ready for the AGM 2023 and Members’ Forum.

1. Accommodation – booked accommodation at the official hotel – Traders KLCC (linked here)
2. Arrival / Departure Information – told us your travel details – form linked here.
3. Nominated your Delegate(s) – completed and sent the Delegates Nomination form to us.

2. New BWF Associate Member

At a recent Council meeting the BWF Council approved the Associate membership of Ligue Mahoraise de Badminton (Mayotte, an archipelago in the Indian Ocean between Madagascar and the coast of Mozambique) – linked here.

3. New International Classifier

At a recent Council meeting, Ahmed Reda (Egypt) was confirmed as a new BWF International Classifier following the successful completion of his final assessment at the Brazil Para International 2023.

4. Office Closures

We would like to remind you that the BWF office will be closed on two days next week to observe two national holidays in Malaysia – Monday 1^st (to observe May Day) and Thursday 4^th May (to observe Wesak Day).
