Isle of Man Retires Membership of the BWF

BWF gives notice that under Clause 13.4 of the BWF Constitution, the Isle of Man has retired as an Associate Member of the BWF effective Sunday 19 February.

Following an application from the Isle of Man, the BWF Council considered the request to retire its membership and the BWF Council approved the retirement at its virtual meeting of Sunday 19 February 2023.

Member Association Awards 2023 – deadline 10 March

A final reminder that Member Associations are invited to submit applications to be considered in one of four BWF Membership Award categories – the deadline is Friday 10^th March 2023

BWF is recruiting a Technical Events Manager, a full-time position based at the BWF Headquarters – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Technical Events Manager is responsible for managing and supporting the following areas within the Events Department – Technical Officials Programmes:

Effective implementation of all BWF Technical Officials programmes, and related development activities;
Existing volunteer and semi-professional referee and umpire programmes;
Educational resources development and production,
Building upon existing Continental Confederation and Member Association technical officials recruitment, education, training, and development initiatives.
