Member Declarations – Registered Players 2022

The deadline for Members to submit the Schedule A 2022 was 30 September 2022. This included a declaration from each Member on the number of Registered Players in their national system.

For those Members who completed the Schedule A – thank you – and you do not need to do anything further.

For those Members who did not submit the Schedule A in 2022, the Council has estimated the number of Registered Players based on the available information. Please check the Memo sent to the Membership on Thursday 17 November..

Those Members who did not submit the Schedule A have 14 days (until midnight KL time on Thursday 1 December) to object to the numbers approved by Council. See Article 13.1 of the BWF constitution (linked here).

Career Opportunity – Head of Tournament Development

BWF is seeking applications for a new position for the technical events area of the Events Department.

Reporting to the Deputy Events Director – Technical Events Management, the Head of Tournament Development is responsible for the day-to-day management of the following areas within the Events Department:

• Tournament and technical delivery of the Para badminton competition structure;
• Development and implementation of tournament and technical delivery of an AirBadminton competition structure;
• Tournament and draw management for badminton, Para badminton, and AirBadminton.

BWF Office Closure

The BWF office will be closed tomorrow Friday 18 November to observe a national holiday in Malaysia due to elections taking place.
