Reminders – Team Managers iZone Briefing – Para Badminton World Championships / BWF Administrator Awards 2022 / Office Closure Monday

  1. iZone briefing for Team Managers going to the HULIC DAIHATSU BWF Para Badminton World Championships 2022 – register for the iZone online briefing this Thursday – you must register to attend – Click here to Register.
  2. Nominations for Administrator Awards – deadline Monday 31 October 2022

BWF is hosting a briefing for Team Managers going to the HULIC DAIHATSU BWF Para Badminton World Championships 2022. This will provide information on the iZone and how Team Managers can support players awareness and education.

  • When – Thursday 20 October 2022
  • Time – 20:00 KL time / 14:00 CET – 1 hour / in English
  • Virtual – you must register Click here to Register.
  • What is it About – the iZone at the Championships – and how to get ready for this.

 

The iZone is a player information and engagement zone.

Every player must visit the iZone at least once during the Championships.

BWF staff and volunteers will be there to share information and support players to complete integrity activities (anti-doping / anti-match manipulation).

  1. BWF Administrator Awards 2022

This is a reminder that the deadline to submit nominations for the BWF Administrator Awards is Monday 31 October. See our announcement of 12 October (linked here). The Administrator Award categories are:

  1. Lifetime Achievement Award
  2. Herbert Scheele Trophy
  3. Distinguished Service Award
  4. Meritorious Service Award
  5. Certificate of Commendation
  6. Gender Equity and Diversity Award

Please be reminded that the BWF office will be closed this Monday to mark a national holiday in Malaysia for Dewali – the Festival of Lights.
