Registered Player Numbers – Declared on the Schedule A 2021

The deadline for Members to submit the Schedule A 2021 was 30 September 2021. This included a declaration by each Member on the number of Registered Players in their national system.

For those Members who did not submit the Schedule A 2021 (see yellow mark up in the attached), the Council has estimated the number of Registered Players based on the available information. Please check the attached.

Those Members who did not submit the Schedule A have 14 days (until midnight KL time on Tuesday 9 November) to object to the numbers approved by Council. See Article 13.1 of the BWF constitution (linked here). Please write to Patricia Wong @ [email protected] if you wish to object and state the reasons why.

Nominations – BWF Athletes’ Commission Elections

The BWF is calling for nominations for the Athletes’ Commission elections which will take place on Friday 17 December 2021.

The deadline to submit a nomination is midnight KL time on Friday 5 November. Please see information on the process and dates on the BWF website (linked here).

Those who are eligible to vote, can vote “in-person” at the TotalEnergies BWF World Championships in Huelva, Spain – or vote electronically online. Details will be communicated later.

BWF Administrator Awards 2021 – Deadline 31 October

Please note that the deadline to submit nominations for player awards is Sunday 31 October 2021. See our announcements of 22 September (linked here).
