Nominations for Elections close – midnight KL time – Fri. 19 February
This is a reminder that the deadline for proposals and nominations for elections and the seconding of these, is midnight KL time on Friday 19 February 2021.
This Memo gives information on:

- Steps towards the announcements of the Candidates – 2 April 2021

1. Key Dates
> Friday 19 February 2021 – Deadline for proposals / nominations – seconding.
> February / March 2021 – Vetting process for candidates for elections (Vetting Panel)
> Friday 2 April 2021 – BWF Announcement – List of Candidates for Election
– Notice of the AGM / agenda / papers / annual report / audited
> Friday 16 April 2021 – Deadline for amendments to proposal.,
> Saturday 22 May 2021 – @ 1900 KL Time – BWF AGM and elections.
2. Steps Towards the announcement of Candidates – 2 April 2021
The below describes the steps from now until 2 April 2021. Please note that at the close of the nomination period, the vetting process starts and continues till the end of March 2021.
BWF will announce the Candidates for Election only after the Vetting Panel has completed their work as described under Appendix II of the BWF constitution. This announcement will take place on 2 April 2021, the day the Notice of the virtual AGM.
