Tournament Update / BWF World Rankings

Please find below an update on a tournament cancellation / postponement due to Covid-19 and a reminder about our memo of 21 December (linked here) in which BWF gave notice of the re-opening of the BWF World Rankings today – 2 February 2021.


Grade 3 Tournaments 2021 – Cancelled / Postponed

Further to our update on 22 January 2021 (linked here), BWF wishes to advise that the following tournaments have been cancelled / postponed in consultation with the relevant Continental Confederations and the Host:

Cancelled

  • YONEX Osaka International Challenge 2021 – 31 March – 04 April – Osaka

 

Postponed

  • LI-NING Czech Open 2021 – new dates – 21 to 24 October 2021 (week 42) – Brno

Re-Opening of the BWF World Rankings – Today

This is a reminder of our memo of 21 December (linked here) in which BWF gave details of the re-opening up of the BWF World Rankings on 2 February 2021, following the conclusion of the Asian Leg in Bangkok, hosted over the last three weeks.
