It is hard to believe that this time last year BWF launched AirBadminton, in Guangzhou, China (linked here). It was a significant moment for the BWF and its Global Development Partner, HSBC.
In the last 12 months since the launch, 94 BWF Member Associations have expressed interest in the project, the mass production of the new AirShuttle began in February 2020 and the BWF team has worked hard to send out approximately 15,000 AirShuttles allocated to the BWF membership, with 18 countries already receiving their samples.
Brand and Retail Partners
BWF has been working with several brands and retailers to ensure that the AirShuttle and associated equipment are accessible to everyone at an affordable price.
A list of confirmed distributors can be found in the accompanying documents and on our AirBadminton website.
The BWF team has been working on sustainable marketing and distribution plans with each partner including supplying clear and comprehensive brand and distribution guidelines.
