Yonex All England Media Accreditation Ends Today

Media accreditation for the season’s first Super 1000 event – the Yonex All England Open Badminton Championships 2020 – closes today. Media representatives planning to attend the event may apply online at https://www.allenglandbadminton.com/media.

This will be the 110th edition of the All England, the world’s oldest badminton tournament, and will be staged at Arena Birmingham from 11 to 15 March 2020.

Media accreditation will be required for accessing the mixed zone for player interviews, photography, TV broadcast, and reporting – whether print, online, radio or vlog.

A pre-tournament press conference is due to be held at the venue prior to competition starting on Wednesday 11 March.

Unless accredited as media, photography is not permitted within the playing arena at any time, and the organisers reserve the right to remove any equipment breaching this policy.

The All England offers total prize money of US$1.1 million, with the singles winners taking home US$77,000 each and the winning doubles pair in each category receiving a purse of US$81,400.

Competition starts at 9am on Wednesday 11 March.
