Clarification – Participation in the 29th Fajr Badminton Int. Challenge 2020
Please note the following clarification:
A. Calculation of World Ranking Points in a Team Tournament / Olympic Qualification
World ranking points earned from the 29th Fajr Badminton International Challenge 2020 will count, as normal, towards the calculation of points earned in team tournament (as per BWF Statute 5.3.3.1 – World Ranking System, Clause 7).
As such, any points earned from a team tournament during the qualifying period may count towards Olympic qualification, if applicable.
B. Extended Withdrawal Without Penalty Deadline
BWF has extended the deadline to withdraw without penalty from the 29th Fajr Badminton Challenge 2020 to Monday, 27 January 2020.
