BWF AGM Agenda

The Annual General Meeting of the BWF will be held on Saturday 19 May 2018 at 1000 hours in Convention Centre A1, Level 22 at Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld.

The BWF has sent out to the membership, the following documents:

1. Notice of the Annual General Meeting (Order Paper)
2. Annual Report and Audited Financial Statements 2017
3. Annexure A – Minutes of the BWF AGM 2017 – Gold Coast, Australia – 20 May 2017
4. Annexure B – Council Proposal – Amendments to the Constitution

These meeting documents have been uploaded on the BWF website on the Forum and AGM page.

Amendments to AGM Proposals

Please note that any Member in Good Standing (clause 7.19) who wishes to submit amendments to the AGM Proposals on the Order paper, must do this no later than midnight Friday 13 April 2018 (KL time).

Please note clause 15.14 which states – “No amendment, other than one of wording which does not alter the meaning or intent of the original proposal, shall be accepted by the Chair at a General Meeting unless it shall have been sent directly to the Secretary General so as to reach the Federation not later than five (5) weeks in advance of the meeting”.

Please ensure that this is returned to the office well before the deadline which is 1000 A.M. on 17 May 2018).

Other Forms

Please download the visa letter request form and transport form from the website and complete and send these as soon as possible.The deadline for the hosts to receive hotel bookings and payment, visa request letters, transport forms is Thursday 12 April 2018.

Key Dates

 30 March 2018 – deadline for the Notice of the Meeting (7 weeks out)

13 April 2018 – deadline for any amendments to proposals (5 weeks out)

Saturday 19 May 2018 (1000) – BWF Annual General Meeting

Sunday 20 – 27 May 2018 – TOTAL Thomas & Uber Cup Finals
