New Websites for BWF

BWF has launched two new websites to better serve the global badminton community. The two new websites add to the existing BWF websites and significantly increase the information available for badminton fans, BWF members and the broader badminton community. The new sites are mobile optimized  – the pages, images and text respond automatically to the screen size of your mobile devices. The URLs for the two news sites are:

BWF Family of Websites

Fan site – the entry point for fans, players, media and sponsors. The latest news on players and personalities in the sport, player profiles, results, statistics and events.

Corporate Site – servicing BWF members, Continental Confederations, badminton administrators, business partners, technical officials.

BWF World Superseries site – all you need to know about the 12 leg Series and the Dubai BWF World Superseries Finals.

BWF World Championships site – created for each BWF World Championships.

Future Websites

BWF will launch a number of other sites in 2016. These are:

Chinese Fan site – the fans site translated and available for Chinese speaking fans globally.

Education site – providing information on education and training courses in badminton. This site is for trainers, tutors, coaches and coach educators, technical officials, classifiers, players and the entourage. This will have training and education materials for courses for a range of people in working and volunteering in badminton.

Shuttle Time site – the home for Shuttle Time Schools Badminton programme. This site is for schools teachers, tutors, trainers, Members implementing Shuttle Time programmes.

BWF Badminton Museum site – a collaboration between the Russian Badminton Federation and the Academic Education and Research Centre of the Russian Academy of Science, Lomonosov Moscow State University this website will capture the heritage and history of badminton – the icons of the sport, the events, the achievements over time.

The new sites aim to better meet the needs of our diverse audiences – fans, badminton organisations, administrators and officials in the sport, the BWF membership. BWF already has a large global community engaging in its digital world.
