Gala Night in Guangzhou
BWF once again hosted is Gala Awards Night, this time in Guangzhou alongside the HSBC BWF World Tour Finals which gets underway Wednesday 12 December.
The annual Player of the Year Awards were presented with the list of winners below:
– Marcus Fernaldi Gideon/Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo (INA) – Male Player of the Year
– Huang Yaqiong (CHN) – Female Player of the Year
– Jack Shephard (ENG) – Male Para-Badminton Player of the Year
– Leani Ratri Oktila (INA) – Female Para-Badminton Player of the Year
– Han Chengkai/Zhou Haodong (CHN) – Eddy Choong Most Promising Player of the Year
– Mayu Matsumoto and Wakana Nagahara (JPN) – Most Improved Player of the Year
