ISF U15 GYMNASIADE – WORLD SCHOOL SPORT GAMES – April Deadline for Entries
Badminton is one of 22 sports being hosted at the 2nd ISF U15 Gymnasiade 2023 – World School Sport Games, being held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from 19 – 27 August 2023.
BWF encourages Member Associations to pass this information on and to encourage participation in the 2nd ISF U15 Gymnasiade 2023 – World School Sport Games. This is especially relevant to Member Associations who support schools badminton competitions, have their own badminton school’s badminton programme or an established Shuttle Time programme.

International School Sport Federation (ISF)
International School Sport Federation (ISF) was founded in 1972 as an international non-profit sports organisation, acting as the umbrella organisation and governing body for national school sport organisations around the world organising sport, and educational events for youth from 6 to 18 years old.
ISF Is recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and consists of 132 members over the five continents. They organise over 10 events per year and have more than 30 different sports included in its competition programme.
The 1st ISF U15 Gymnasiade (World School Sports Games) was organised in 2021 in Belgrade, Serbia, which brought together 1,849 school athletes from 36 countries aged 13 to 15 in a multi-sport event (14 different sports), creating a unique context for high-level sports competitions, educational programmes, and cultural exchanges.
