Standard Approach to On-Court Medical Services

It is important for the safety of players, continuous play, and the overall presentation of our sport that BWF has in place a standardised approach to on-court medical services at our Major Championships and the HSBC BWF World Tour.

As such, it is important that players understand what medical services are available to them, and how tournament doctors, referees, and medical staff interact with players on-court, including what is and is not allowed.

Please find attached a document titled “Player and Coach Information – On-Court Injuries” which we ask you to share with your players, coaches, and team officials.
