Top Committed Players Programme 2023

Please note that BWF will resume its Top Committed Player programme in 2023, as per BWF Statutes, Section 5.3.6, Clause 2.

Players occupying the top 15 places in Men’s and Women’s Singles, and the top 10 places in Men’s and Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles on the BWF World Ranking as of 15 November 2022, will be designated as “Top Committed Players” for 2023.

The “Top Committed Players” determined on 15 November 2022 are required to play in the following tournaments in the 2023 calendar year:

• BWF World Tour Finals (if qualified)
• All four BWF World Tour Super 1000 tournaments
• All six BWF World Tour Super 750 tournaments
• Two out of nine BWF World Tour Super 500 tournaments

Any players who, in addition to the players above, occupy places in the top 15 in Men’s and Women’s Singles, and the top 10 places in Men’s and Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles on the BWF World Ranking as of 4 July 2023, will be designated as “Top Committed Players” for the remainder of the 2023 calendar year.

The “Top Committed Players” determined on 4 July 2023 are required to play in the following tournaments in the remainder of the 2023 calendar year:

• BWF World Tour Finals (if qualified)
• All remaining BWF World Tour Super 1000 tournaments
• All remaining BWF World Tour Super 750 tournaments
• A minimum of one BWF World Tour Super 500 tournament

BWF will contact each respective Member Association directly to confirm any players/pairs who have qualified for the list of “Top Committed Players” as per the 15 November 2022 World Ranking, shortly.
