Here are three short notices for the beginning of June 2018:

– Schedule A 2018 – due no later than 30 September 2018

– Job Opportunity – Technical Officials Manager – applications close 29 June 2018

– Office Closure – 15 June – National Holiday

Schedule A 2018

Members are required to complete a Schedule A by the end of September each year. Completing this and sending this back to the BWF office is a requirement under the BWF constitution.

The Schedule A is also available for download on the BWF website (linked here). Please complete this before midnight 30 September 2018 and send to Patricia Wong [email protected]

Clause 7.28 of the BWC constitution states the following:

Schedule A means the form submitted to the Secretary General by Members annually which contains such information required for purposes of administration and publication including but not limited to the names, addresses and contact information of its principal officers, the number of member clubs / associations, the total number of registered players affiliated to the Member and a declaration that the provisions of Criteria for Membership (Clause 8) continue to be met.

Job Opportunity – Technical Officials Manager

Reporting to the Senior Technical Events Manager, the Technical Officials (TO) Manager is responsible for the effective implementation of all BWF Technical Officials programmes, and related development activities, including the existing volunteer and semi-professional referee and umpire programmes, educational resources development and production, and helping to build upon existing continental confederation and member association technical officials recruitment, education, training, and development initiatives.

Office Closures – Public Holiday – Friday 15 June 2018

The BWF office will be closed on Friday 15 June for Hari Raya Aidilfitri, to celebrate the end of the Ramadan.
