Election Process
The BWF virtual Annual General Meeting will be held at 1900 KL time (1300 CET), on Saturday 22 May 2021.
This year is an election year for the positions of President, Deputy President and Vice President Para Badminton – as well as 20 ordinary Council positions.
Elections for ordinary Council Members – how does it work?
At the AGM 2020, the BWF membership approved a new Appendix I to the BWF Constitution to ensure gender and geographical representation on Council.
We have prepared a video in three languages which can assist you to understand how the voting works to achieve gender and geographical representation.
Durant l’AGM de 2020, les membres de la BWF ont approuvé une nouvelle Annexe I à la Constitution de la BWF, pour assurer une représentation par sexe et par région au niveau du Conseil.
