Level 1 Coach Education Course – Current and Former Para badminton Players

The BWF in collaboration with West Asia Para Federation (WAPF) are pleased to organise a BWF Coach Education Level 1 Course for current and former Para badminton athletes.

This course aims to integrate athletes with a disability into the BWF Coaching pathway, providing opportunities for athletes to develop skills and increase their future employment opportunities after retiring from competing. Applications close 9 December 2022.

Attached is a poster with information on the course, which will be delivered over five days from 16 – 20 January 2023 at the Ajman Club for the Disabled Sports Hall in Ajman City, United Arab Emirates. Please see the criteria in the attached.


Registration

We would like to open the application process to the Para badminton athlete community.

BWF/WAPF will cover the following:

  • Economy air ticket to/from Dubai or Sharjah International Airports
  • 5 night’s Accommodation on Bed & Breakfast basis
  • Airport transfers in United Arab Emirates
  • Daily transfer to/from the hotel and course venue
  • Lunch and Coffee Breaks during the course dates

 

Please note that there will be no fee incurred to participate in the course. However, costs relating to visa, evening meals and other incidentals are the responsibility of each participant.


Close of Applications / Short Listing

Following the closing date to submit applications of 9th December 2022, the BWF will shortlist and may interview potential candidates, before confirming their selection to attend the course.
