3 Days to Register to Vote – Para Badminton AC Elections

There are 3 days to register for the BWF Para Badminton Athletes’ Commission elections. So far – 156 Para badminton athletes have registered to vote.  The deadline is THIS Thursday.

Please send to all your Para badminton athletes (see who can vote below) and ask them to register to vote (see below) if they have not already registered.

Para Badminton Athletes’ Commission Elections

1. There are 6 positions to be filled / 11 candidates (see the profiles)
2. Elections take place on 11 March 2022 (voting online from 5:00 KL time).
3. Voting is only online.
4. You must register to vote in the elections (Click on the link to register to vote – there are 8 language options – see top right when you log in).

   Who can vote? See the list of those who can vote (linked here). They are:

   • Para badminton players who are 18 years of age or older as at 11 March 2022.
   • In ‘good standing’ with their Member Association / Not serving a period of ineligibility under the BWF Statutes.
   • Be an “active player” (on the Para badminton World Ranking List of 20 December 2021).
   • Have registered to vote by the deadline – 48 hours before the elections.
